LuminaLife is a Central Iowa provider of Host Home and Supported Community Living (SCL) services under Iowa’s ID Waiver program. We support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in safe, structured, family-style environments that promote independence, dignity, and meaningful community involvement.

We work closely with individuals, families, guardians, and case managers to ensure consistent care, strong communication, and person-centered support.

At LuminaLife, our mission is to provide high-quality Host Home services in Des Moines, Iowa for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities receiving support under the Iowa ID Waiver. Through our Host Home model, individuals live in carefully selected private homes with trained providers who deliver 24/7 support tailored to each person’s assessed needs, goals, and level of independence.
